Your cooling system is what keeps your car from having a meltdown. If you didn’t have some way to cool things off, your engine would turn into a solid block of useless metal in no time flat. All of the parts that make up the cooling system have one goal of moving coolant around the engine so it can absorb and dissipate heat.
Your vehicle’s radiator and cooling system needs to be clean to be cool. As time goes on, your radiator builds solid deposits that can clog the cooling system. A cooling system flush can keep the system in shape.
Every Cooling System Flush Service includes the following performed by an ASE Certified Technician:
- Inspect the condition of the radiator, hoses and clamps and test for leaks.
- Inspect for hardened deposits in the radiator core.
- Inspect the radiator fan and drive belts for wear and replace as necessary.
- Inspect the fan belts and replace as necessary.
- Renew engine thermostat if necessary.
- Flush the complete cooling system with a heavy duty flush machine.
- Refill with a quality clean, fresh coolant mixture and an additive to protect the system from corrosion.
- Perform a final systems check for operation and leaks.
